Okay, folks, buckle up! It's that time of year again – the roar of engines, the smell of burning rubber, and the sheer adrenaline rush of the Donegal International Rally. This year, it's extra special because it kicks off the championship season! I've been following this rally for, gosh, maybe fifteen years now, and let me tell you, it's always a wild ride.

My First (and Most Memorable) Donegal Disaster

My first Donegal Rally? Let's just say it was… eventful. I'd planned everything perfectly, or so I thought. I'd mapped out the best viewing spots, packed enough snacks to feed a small army (seriously, those rally days are long), and even brought my lucky Donegal Rally hat – a hand-me-down from my uncle, who swears it brings good luck.

• Bring extra snacks and water: You'll be surprised how quickly those snacks disappear, and dehydration is the worst!
• Charge your devices the night before: It might seem obvious, but it’s easily overlooked.
