I'm so hoping this becomes a reality, because the planning alone was a rollercoaster! This is the story of how I almost missed the gig of a lifetime, and what I learned along the way. The Ticket Debacle: A Total Nightmare

First, the tickets. Man, getting tickets these days is brutal. I’d been refreshing that Ticketmaster page like a maniac for weeks leading up to the on-sale. I'd heard horror stories about bots and crazy-fast sellouts – and let me tell you, the hype was real. I swear, I was faster than a cheetah, my fingers practically flying across the keyboard—but still, I got stuck in the virtual waiting room for what felt like an eternity.

Travel Troubles: A Lesson in Logistics

Then came the travel. I live a few hours away, and I completely underestimated the traffic. I shoulda' checked Waze or something for expected travel times beforehand. I left too late, thinking I had plenty of time. Yeah, that backfired spectacularly. I hit rush hour traffic like a ton of bricks, and spent way too long stuck on the highway. I actually thought I was going to miss the opening act! My heart was pounding. I was sweating bullets, practically driving with one hand and praying with the other. Pro tip: Use a real-time traffic app, and leave super early – better to be early than late!

The Concert Itself: Pure Magic!

Despite the pre-concert chaos, the actual show? Unforgettable. Joel and Stewart were amazing! The energy was electric, the crowd was buzzing. I even got to hear my favorite song, "Sunrise Serenade" (I know, super obscure!). Even though my seats weren’t the best, I still had a blast. The sound was incredible, the lighting was phenomenal and the overall atmosphere was amazing.

But here's a secret: I got a much better view on some of the songs. During some songs, everyone was dancing and jumping and the view opened up. The people around me were awesome too – the concert was truly a shared experience.
