OMG! Joel & Stewart Live Concert Announced - You WON'T Believe This!

Okay, guys, let me tell you – I'm still freaking out! I saw it on Twitter, then I checked their official websites, and it's real. Joel and Stewart are actually doing a joint concert tour! I mean, seriously, who saw that coming? I'm already planning my outfit. This is HUGE.

For those who don't know (are you living under a rock?!), Joel and Stewart are two of the biggest names in – well, I guess you could say alternative-indie-pop-rock? It’s a bit of a genre soup, but whatever it is, it’s amazing. They’ve both had wildly successful solo careers for years, so a joint tour is a total game-changer. I remember back in 2016, I was so sure they were gonna collaborate. I even started a fan page on Facebook! It got, like, 12 followers. Ouch. But hey, persistence pays off, right?

The Hype is REAL

The announcement was made yesterday, and the internet basically exploded. Ticket sites crashed momentarily (I almost had a heart attack trying to get mine!), and social media is just a non-stop party of excited fans. #JoelStewartTour is trending worldwide, and it's just… insane. People are already sharing their planned outfits, travel arrangements, and even homemade fan art! The whole thing is just electric. The energy is palpable! I can practically feel it through the screen! (Okay, maybe I'm getting a little carried away…but still!).

What to Expect

From what I've gleaned (I've spent the last 24 hours deep-diving into every possible news source, obvi), the tour will kick off in London on November 15th, and will cover major cities across Europe and North America. They're playing all their biggest hits, as well as some tracks from each other's catalogs – which is what I've been waiting for, for years and years! Plus, rumours are swirling about some brand new material. Can you even imagine?! New music from BOTH of them? I'm about to faint! I'm hoping they play 'Dancing in the Moonlight' – that song brings back so many memories.

My Biggest Concert Fail (and how to avoid it!)

I have to confess, I've had some epic concert fails in my time. Remember that time I went to see the 'Blue Moon' band back in 2009? I didn't check the venue's parking situation beforehand, and ended up spending an hour circling the block, completely stressed out, and almost missed the opening act. I missed half of the opening band’s performance! I was kicking myself.

Lesson learned: Always check venue information thoroughly before you go. Look into parking options, public transport routes, and even nearby food places. Being prepared will save you a TON of stress.

Getting Your Tickets: Tips and Tricks

Okay, so you want tickets? Obviously. Here’s how to avoid my parking nightmare and maybe even score a good seat.

• Be ready: The second tickets go on sale, you need to be ready. Have your payment info ready, and know exactly where you want to sit. Set reminders on your phone and multiple clocks.
• Use multiple devices: I’ve heard from friends that using multiple devices to try and snag tickets at the same time is helpful. So enlist a friend or family member.
• Check different ticket sites: Don't just stick to one site. There are many places that resell tickets, like StubHub. (But always be careful and make sure they're legitimate!)
