While you can see some alignments with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope will significantly enhance your viewing experience. A simple pair of binoculars will reveal far more detail than you'd think. Telescopes, naturally, allow for even greater magnification and clarity. However, they are way more of an investment.

I recommend starting with binoculars and slowly upgrade to a telescope as your interest grows. Don't rush into buying expensive equipment. Start with something affordable and then decide if you want to invest more heavily. It's easy to get swept up in the excitement, but take your time.
